For most of us, it’s difficult to take risk because we’re more afraid to lose what we have than what we’ll be gaining. Never mind if the benefits are more lasting and outweighs the short term losses.

 

I'm one of those risk averse individuals. But traveling solo, and having to decide on everything – without any help from my family and friends, with only my wits and free spirit to guide me – pushed me to reframe things.  To view risk in terms of how it will benefit me than on what it will cost me.

 

Here's what I learned: Taking risk is the best way to living my best life ever!
