How to posts that aim to help female travelers are a regular fixture here in The Gypsygals. I even published a six-part series on How to  Travel Alone as a Woman. The main purpose of these posts is of course to make solo travels smooth and easier for women like you who want to tread your own path but don’t know where to start. Consider The Gypsygals then as a one-stop  resource site for solo  female travelers.

But while I wrote about tips on how to travel on a budget, travel safety, and looking for the best cities for women travelers  and even published quick city guides catering to female travelers. I even published an epic post on the many gifts of solo female travel   And yet I forgot to address one factor that’s preventing a lot of you from traveling on your own even if you really really really want to : FEAR

The FEAR of not having enough money to travel solo. The FEAR of being alone, lonely or bored while on the road. The FEAR of being assaulted in unfamiliar streets. The FEAR that your friends and family will think you are weird because you want to be on your own . This is especially true for us Pinay travelers who have been conditioned to become part of a clan, a barangay, a travel group with balikbayan boxes in tow.

How can we then crush these fears and become brave,  to convert FEARS into FIERCE?
The way to do that is to Change your Mindset.
To convert  that Fear-based Mindset into a FIERCE-based Mindset.
And you can only do that through inner work.

And if you want to know how to do inner work, then do join me in Manila tomorrow August 17, as I talk about solo female travel at Eastwood Mall in Libis, Quezon City.
In this 20 minute talk, I’ll give tips on how to change your mindset, plan your travels and encourage you to implement them.
So here’s the poster if you want to know the details. Hasta pronto chicas!
